These Networking Lunches are being organized by Brother John Olsen (Beta-Omicron Chapter) in an effort to simply get Brother’s in the area to come out and meet each other: “NETWORK”. There is some talk of putting together a website hub where California Brothers could go to to find all events for all Alumni Associations and Active Chapters, as well as links to all the California Chapter’s and Alumni Association’s websites. So say you’re going to San Diego and you want to see if there’s anything going on…you’d log in to this site and you could see any events around the area being put on by Sigma Pi. Of course this would be a community effort and other Chapters/Alumni would have to be on board, but it would be a great tool and that’s what these lunches are for, to see if there’s any interest in something like this.

All Sigma Pi Brothers in the California Chapters have been invited to the SJSU Beta Eta Rafting and Camping trip July 30-31st this month.

This event is an officially sanctioned event by the National Office so ALL Brothers/Alumni are encouraged to attend.

This will be a great opportunity for Brothers to camp out with Northern & Southern California Brothers at other Sigma Pi Chapters and have a great time/socialize/network/get ideas/etc.

The trip is really inexpensive, and it is a bring your own food/beverage event, plus gas money. The location is approximately at 6.5 hour drive from DH to Folsom Rec Area.

We are trying to get at least two carloads to go on this trip from Eta Iota. The info on the Folsom Lake Recreational area and the rafting is attached.

Please pass this information on to Brothers at other Chapters that me be interested in having a terrific Brotherhood Event.
